Transart Consult is looking for translators, editors and proofreaders. The successful candidates are expected to:
- Translate documents properly, ensuring high standard of accuracy, and maintaining the spirit, context of texts as well as ensuring quality, technical language and nuances of the original version, using precise, clear and proper terminology;
- Use appropriate terminology as directed by the requester;
- Keep abreast of developments in both the source and target languages;
- Excellent command of source and target AU languages;
- Have a working knowledge of Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) software;
- Have an insight into the use of the newly acquired translation software and tool;
- Computer literacy including the use of office applications;
- Ability to cope with pressure and work in a multicultural environment;
- Knowledge in any of the following fields: agriculture, economy; communication; human resource management;
- Advanced degree in any of the above fields
- Ability to translate from English to French and vice versa
